Our Construction Process
No adjustable truss bds are built into Cannon Mandolins. Instead, an
exceptionally stiff, yet lightweight carbon fiber beam adds strength
without the weight of a mechanical metal truss-rod. Keep in mind that
Martin guitars were built for over 100 years without adjustable necks.
Our backlog is currently running about six months. This is subject to
change as orders continue to come in and our popularity grows as more
people find out about us.
'Seconds' Available
At times rib sets or rough necks may be available as 'seconds.' These
are available to craftsmen who would like to try their hand at making a
mandolin. We can also provide rib blanks, cypress linings, and other
parts by prior request and agreement. Please use our
